The Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing sales activities, developing relationships with customers, managing accounts, and generating new sales opportunities. This is a position that will work locally in the Gahanna, Ohio office.


  • Sell advertising programs across a variety of at-work and curated media formats

  • Identify and acquire new relationships

  • Act as the point of contact to respond to customer needs

  • Arrange business meetings and 1-on-1 conversations with prospects

  • Create sales pitches

  • Negotiate contracts

  • Create presentations and proposals

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers

  • Achieve prescribed monthly, quarterly and annual goals

  • Accurately maintain all activity data in our CRM and provide weekly status and progress updates on leads and deals in process

  • Research within target markets for ideal new customers and partnerships

  • Potential travel to clients and trade shows up to 21 days per year


  • Comfort level with technology and learning/using CRM system efficiently

  • Knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, PowerPoint (or Canva), and Excel or equivalents

  • Understanding of business math and sales margins

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in person and over the phone/MS Teams

  • Negotiation skills and the ability to understand complex proposals and agreements


  • Proven, measurable experience as a Sales Account Manager: 3+ Years preferred

  • Experience in B2B or B2B2C selling

  • Experience prospecting and successfully onboarding new National Accounts

  • Experience managing existing national accounts

  • Background in advertising, commercial printing, or human resources is a plus

  • High School Degree required
